>>1612206The sport itself is not gay. There are hot wrestlers. I don't mind drooling over wrestlers. I don't mind people finding boys and men in singlets hot.
I do think that a fetishization of the sport itself is weird. People who watch men wrestling seriously as a type of porn. Thats all i have an issue with. I don't really have an issue with this thread.
>abusing seniority on the team to sexually assault others>hazingno, that did not happen. If someone said they were uncomfortable with it, we stopped. There were a few guys like that. Most of the guys on the team were in fact straight. I kept in contact with most of them and asked some if they were actually closet gay. They said no, so i asked about the homo/no homo stuff. They said they were comfortable with their sexuality and with eachother.
>>1612209Actually, interscholastic sports have been shown to improve academics. Most student athletes are at the upper end of their class. Also, for males especially, it is a healthy release of energy that actually enables better focus on school work.
>>1612210It's not a victim complex. Usually the bullying was not from teammates even, in documented cases I've read, but from the rest of the school and from wrestlers on other teams. From non-teammate classmates
>You only wrestled to meet boys or to rub all up on themand from non teammate wrestlers
>I don't want to wrestle a gay guywhich is usually the same reason guy from conservative states (see state runners up from Oklahoma, Utah, and Idaho over the last decade) not wanting to wrestle girls, because they view the sport itself as erotic, when it's not, which was my original point.
>>1612132>I never much thought of it. I personally would never intentionally put my hand on someones dick or butthole during the match, but, sometimes I did by accident.. When my butt or dick/balls got touched, i assumed it was an accident.
