I'll start us off with my 2 most favorite.

1. Sengoku Rance

Play as a general in Feudal Japan and have sex with all the girls you meet (except this one middle aged woman) Very deep strategic game with loads to discover, it's actually FUN TO PLAY which is amazing IMO.

This classic title by JAST was memorable for having a fairly large cast, and being a simple yet deep decision-tree style H Game, where it took considerable work to have sex with most of the heroines (except one of them ...), the girls all have different personalities, and the sex scenes are nicely written.

I fucking second sengoku rance. If you're into H, and you are since you are on /h/, then this is the game for you.

Hours and hours of challenging playtime, lots of dirty humor, very high replay value obviously and also a lot of high quality h scenes. I was reluctant at first since it was the first game I played without voices but I soon was swayed.

btw did anyone play that other game by the same studio? I think it's some sort of space setting and has a very similar battle system but I didnt get around to try it yet.

I haven't found any game as straightforward as this, but now it's a little boring.

I tried RapeLay ... couldn't make things happen properly or figure out the "edit" user interface.

Didn't have the patience to hold a bitch's hand for 10 years in AG3.

Damn good game, good story and while a little easy on normal, it's pretty god damn intersting. I recommend you try it! Low spec computers shouldn't have too hard a time running it either, just a turn based game with a ton of CG. Give it a go!

Yeah, I tried some dialog mods (audio) and never got them to work. I can't even figure out the in-game save/load character interface for fuck's sake.

what other mods would you recommend? konashion just added a randomization feature which is good to find a starting point to tweak..

Both Brave Soul and True Love get a vote from me. Need to get round to playing a Rance game.

My suggestion is Critical Point.

Art isn't the best, gameplay is average. But it has a wonderfully high replay value due to the way its story line changes depending on the decisions you make, and it has spark. It was the first Hentai Game I got 100% CGs on.
You could do better, such as any I mentioned at the top of this post, but you could also do far worse.

Dividead was glorious too, the right mix of two genres I love.

The same trick that works on every other Illusion game works on this one too, just rename the destination folder from moonrunes to english and it will work fine. After that grab the appropriate patch thingy off hongfire and you're good to go.

Oh almost forgot, do not try to install from an autorun, it will not work, you have to go to your cd drive, hit explore, and run the setup.exe yourself. I see so many people going "halp, how does I install :insert latest Illusion game title here:!" Someone always posts some overly complicated method involving registry editing, I torrent the game, use the above method, installs every time, no registry editing or anything like that required.
